I think of my mother-in-law who smoked her way into the need of carrying an oxygen tank with her everywhere she goes. We had to rent a wheel chair for her to get around our recent cruise as she got winded just going to the bathroom. Her daily life is entirely about her lack of health. Everything she does, or doesn’t do, is measured by this.
I then think of Frank, a friend who had a heart attack at the age of 55. He was overweight and ate whatever he wanted. He was a “gourmet.” Now his life is about his exercise program, his weight loss, and his changed diet. His life is about his lack of heart health.
Finally, I think about Sheri. Her entire life has been about doing everything wrong regarding health, and I mean everything. And she waited far far too long to be serious about chiropractic. I tried. My colleagues tried. Her surgeon says he can’t help. Her daily life is planned around her lack of health, her low back pain, and her leg pain. She did not plan a bit of her life around her health and now her entire life is about the lack of it.
So, with fear, I hope to motivate you to lose weight if you need to, exercise more, eat better, stretch, etc. and to get adjusted at least weekly. Pay a smaller price now for a better, healthier, and more mobile life later. And if you don’t know what my program “Just One More Thing” is all about, just ask. See, how could sex compete with that?
